Assistive Companion Robot for Elderly Care
User companion
A friendly companion that helps reduce stress and
improve relaxation.
Assistance in your own home
The robot features a camera and screen enabling visual communication with carers, friends and family.
The robot follows your loved one in their home allowing you to capture their daily activity. Any fall instantly triggers the robot to raise an alarm.
‘Ask Me’ or ‘Tell Me’
Ask and the robot will provide answers. Medical reminders and appointments are spoken by the robot to help users not forget.
User friendly interface
The layout of the touch screen is user friendly with recognisable icons enabling use for those with poor visual or memory recall functions.

We’ve developed a working prototype of an assistive mobile robot designed to support elderly users in home and care settings. Built in collaboration with industry during a university research project, the robot combines mobility, interaction, and safety into one platform.
